in Apache Junction with plenty of room to spare both width and length.

All cities and towns have varying quality of RV Parks and Resorts. It would be grossly unfair to indict any one city as having only inadequate sites or RV Parks/resorts. That is a distortion of real facts. Yes, there are high end and low end RV Parks and resorts in the city of Apache Junction. Which one you chose determines the capability to satisfy your needs. La Hacienda RV Resort is priced mid-range of all RV Resorts in the Mesa/Apache Junction metropolitan area. You won't find many with more amenities and/or more friendly ownership/management or residents. Major Cardiac care and hospitals close buy as well as major shopping centers. 15 minutes East or West you can be out in the barren desert, in the superstition Mountains or attend major arts/entertainment in the city.

We are residents in Apache Junction 5 months or more a year and this year will be our 8th year.

It is an age 55 and over RV Resort.

Gila Bend, far east side, is far the best place, weather, price, very clean air, quite, 60 miles to Phx events.

The 55+ designation has to do with how the place was originally formatted and the taxes that are paid - - generally speaking those 55 and over do not have kids in the local school system and thus there may be some favorable taxation for the developer/owner of the property. Most 55+ parks are allowed a certain percentage - I know that Mesa Spirit always has a small population of 'youngsters' around.

Augia's Quail Trail, very nice folks run it. You will find it at the east exit in Gila Bend. Nassa Car is only 45 miles away, Cardnal's football 60 miles away.Phx, Suns basket ball 70 miles away, Winter legel ball is 50 miles , Mex is 60 miles south, Cleanest air in Az. Warmest winters, cool night in winter. Taco Bell, Carl Jr., Buger King, Largest solor plant in the world, many other fine thing to do like hunt rock, low cost RV parks.

Maybe you could start a apple farm.

Old SC'd has been to Wenatchee???? How about Aplets & Cotlets for all the senior snowbirds! No competition for Walmart or Costco, as they are the same 60 miles or so away. THAT WOULD GET REALLY OLD FAST! How is that Gila Bend Food and Drug to shop?

Stayed at Augies a few times. Good for overnight but unless you are happy sitting doing nothing, it has little to offer. There are no services (shopping, entertainment etc) closer than an hour away. There are a bunch of folks that like the area, but for me there is no way. Casa Grande is about as remote as I would like to get.
