The 55+ designation has to do with how the place was originally formatted and the taxes that are paid - - generally speaking those 55 and over do not have kids in the local school system and thus there may be some favorable taxation for the developer/owner of the property. Most 55+ parks are allowed a certain percentage - I know that Mesa Spirit always has a small population of 'youngsters' around.

All cities and towns have varying quality of RV Parks and Resorts. It would be grossly unfair to indict any one city as having only inadequate sites or RV Parks/resorts. That is a distortion of real facts. Yes, there are high end and low end RV Parks and resorts in the city of Apache Junction. Which one you chose determines the capability to satisfy your needs. La Hacienda RV Resort is priced mid-range of all RV Resorts in the Mesa/Apache Junction metropolitan area. You won't find many with more amenities and/or more friendly ownership/management or residents. Major Cardiac care and hospitals close buy as well as major shopping centers. 15 minutes East or West you can be out in the barren desert, in the superstition Mountains or attend major arts/entertainment in the city.

We are residents in Apache Junction 5 months or more a year and this year will be our 8th year.

It is an age 55 and over RV Resort.

X2 on the size of the lots. Our old rig hung over the end of our lot in Apache Junction; our current rig would not fit in that park at all. Many lots are quite small in that area.

So lets just keep Palm Creek our little secret .

We like the park and like the town and have many friends there as most rv'rs do after time goes by plus if I don't get dirty it will be ok.

The problem with Palm Creek is it is going to all high end park models and the owners lease the ground plus for the rv's that are left the laundry has been destroyed for a so called 5 star resort. Try to sell a park model after you can't travel. Kinda like a MH, worth nothing for resale.
