Arizona winter stay campgrounds

We are considering to winter 3 months in AZ. Any suggestions on towns/cities and campgrounds. We were looking at Phoenix area and Lake Havasu City. Phoenix offers a lot to see and do, but not knowing which area (city) to locate in. Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    There are lots of choices in Phoenix area as well as Yuma and Tucson. We like Tucson better as not the big city traffic in Phoenix. Have stayed for shorter periods of time in all those places and many are very nice. Suggest just go to one and while there explore and even move to other parks and decide for your self which parks best suits your needs/ desire. Other residents and park policies may make one stand out over another rather than just the physical park itself.
