What time of year?
Lots of great places to see.
I would spend a few days in the Verde Valley/Cottonwood area. Jerome, Sedona, Oak Creek, Flagstaff and Prescott are all easy day trips. The area has lots of things to see and do within easy driving distance.
If you like caves check out Kartchner Caverns. It is a living cave and I found the lengths they go to in protecting the cave fasinating.
