As most of you are aware - the next two weeks are Heaven in the Rockies. We normally are able to at least fly out and engage in the viewing of this annual spectacle. This year - a few "issues" crop...

Just a heads up, to folks coming out for the Changing of the Colours...the season is about a week to 10 days ahead of itself.
Peaks are already being reached here in the northern mountains. I was up in the Cameron Pass/Never Summer/Rawah area (around 10000 feet) last weekend and the colours were magnificent...but ahead of schedule. Up in Rocky 2 weekends ago, the colours were ramping up to their peak on the west side and near peak on the east side, at least in the area of Glacier Basin and higher up toward Bear Lake.
