Assateague State Park

Never pay serious attention to weather forecasts out by more than 36 hours. They are almost always wrong. Even 12 hours can be dodgey.

It can change for the worse too. Last fall we were 12 hrs away from leaving for our trip, weather forecast was partly sunny with a chance of morning showers. Weather changed to a tropical storm with horizontal rain, oh well...

Really if us in the PNW canceled every time the forecast was for rain, the parks would all be empty!!

Only if you have 6 kids and a 14' pop up!

Given how sought after those sites are I would bet a cup of coffee the site is already grabbed! :)
