IF you do go to the Charles Hall Museum, take the Cherohala Skyway from Tellico Plains over to Robbinsville, NC and visit the Junaluska Museum and Gravesite http://cherokeeheritagetrail.org/robbinsville_home.html.
Cherohala Skyway has stunning views through the clouds; you sometimes spot elk and the occasional bobcat and mountain lion. Fantastic drive!
