My suggestion would be to reserve a campsite with electricity at the Forest Service's La Vista campground at Lake San Isabel (located south of the castle on the same road) and park the motorhome. Then you can drive the toad to the castle.
Has anyone been there, and if so, is there space to park a 36' RV, or would we have to find a parking spot in some town and take the toad? http://www.bishopcastle.org/
After more than 50 years of living in Colorado, Bishop's Castle would not be even on the first or second page of my bucket list of scenic places to visit in the state. After all, I watched him build it over those decades of occasionally driving by on the highway. But that's just me!
