Having never been to AZ I find it overwhelming searching for a place to spend this winter. We want a place that has most of the ammenities, pickleball being a priority, plus the usual, dance, craft, etc. opportunities.
We understand it might be a little late to make reservations, but going to give it a try anyway. Open to suggestions from all those who have experience in that part of the world.
Thx

Go to "www.goodsamcamping.com" and type in Phoenix and then Tuscon and/or any other areas/towns you want to "snow bird". Make a list of your "must have" amenities. Then just start looking at each of the RV Resorts/campgrounds web sites and begin a process of elimination until you find the one that best meets all your needs. Based on what you have said, "Resorts" will probably meet your needs. Make sure you compare your possible choices in the following areas:
1. price breakdown based on length of stay, who pays electricity.
2. deposit policy
3. choice of sites, you don't want a site that is available for only a short period of time, then requiring you to move to another site.
Yes, you should make your reservations as soon as possible, many "snow birders" make them when they leave from the previous year. This does not mean you can't get reservations now, some RVers cancel and most RV parks are not %100 full all the time. Personally, I look for resorts that are located approx. 15 miles away from city.
