Bahia Honda Bridge is Closed
About half of the Old Bahia Honda bridge has been closed. None of the section over water is open. I go up there about every day for a brisk walk and to see sharks and rays. Just won't be the same.

The official explanation from the web site: "The section of the Old Bahia Honda Bridge that extends out over the water has been closed due to possible unsafe conditions. The trail leading to the bridge and the section of the bridge that was not part of the original Oversea Railway is still open to visitors and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding area. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
Too bad is was always a nice feature, and I predict it will never be able to reopen as the funds are just not there to reopen it.
