It's probably the most popular park in the state. Follow the advice above and you'll have some chance. All the sites are close to the water so I would not let that concern me. But the new RV area isn't all that beautiful, but being near the water is the most important thing. In June you should be able to get a spot at one of the commercial CG in the keys for only an arm. You have to throw in a leg during the winter season.
