All good points and there are many levels and issues here.
But they left us standing in the street. Not one policeman in sight (several around the corner guarding the front gate of the ball field) and with their announcement, 10 minutes before we arrived, saw to it that every taxi and bus disappeared before the rest of us could even know to leave much less be able to leave.
You are correct, we are grateful we got out. Many thanks to the Hilton employee to took it on himself to help us out.
