Best campground in Montana
Anybody can recommend a very nice CG in Montana?A place with view of the mountains a clean, full hookups type of resorts.I see picture of Big sky Montana but it have only one CG.

If you're in eastern Montana, 7th Ranch CG outside of Garry Owen, MT. Near Little Bighorn Battlefield.- Pls tell me which campground in Hardin, MT you stayed in. The KOA. or Grand view? Thanks in advance
- We stayed at a great private cg at Columbus, MT--right on the north side of the Interstate. Had the best shower rooms we have ever had--anywhere in the U.S. and we have traveled extensively. The park was very, very clean and neat, easy to get into and out of, and only $30 per night for hook-ups. I would highly recommend it. Plus--it had a great view of the Beartooth mountains to the south.
We have also stayed in a very nice RV park at Hardin, MT--close to the Custer Battlefield. Great host--nightly ice cream socials, reasonable prices. On the west side of MT 47 as you drive south off the interstate. A real bonus to a night is Hardin is to take time to visit the Big Horn County Historical Museum--especially if you have an interest in agriculture and its history in the area. This is a fantastic county museum. - St. Regis, MT The Nugget CG is pretty nice. Golf right across the freeway, Quinns Hot Springs down the highway, world class bike riding up the road, and some of the best ice cream at the corner.
Butte has a KOA--typical CG, but the town has some of the best history in the west. Bar nun!
Just about any place in MT is great. - I second Grizzly. Not only are you in Montana, you're two blocks from the west entrance to Yellowstone NP.

- We love Spring Creek Trout Ranch, Big Timber.
- x2 Yellowstone's Edge. Beautiful views, great river front and Pam and Chan are very welcoming hosts/owners. Short drive to Yellowstone's north (Roosevelt) gate.
- Yellowstone's Edge, south of Livingston
