If you elect to go to Two Medicine, check first. according to their website, only loop A (no generators) is open.
Two Medicine Campground and Picnic Area is experiencing a number of significant water leaks following the winter. Crews are examining large portions of water and sewer lines within the area to determine the cause(s). Until further notice, only Loop A in Two Medicine will be available for public use due to ongoing trenching (36 sites currently available). Check back for updates when additional loops open.
Apgar is a no reservation campground on the west side. It is the largest campground in the park. We've camped their many times (the last time in 2016) and have had no issues with the generator hours. (7:00 - 9:00 AM, 12:00 - 2:00 PM, 5:00 - 7:00 PM) I believe the hours are the same in all areas that allow generator usage.
We camp outside the park the night before we go into the park. One of us will take the car in early and find a spot for us to camp.
