Mama Gerties was awesome, but definitely on the side of a mountain and no pool if that matters. Super clean, beautiful setting, awesome individual showers. Didn't care for Boone KOA, rather old, the I-row sites are tiny. Sounds like Toe River and Brown Mountain are worth looking at. Not sure about Campfire Lodgings. I always check rvparkreviews too.
