Thanks for all the awesome suggestions! Now there are so many I want to check out, I don't know where to go first!!
A friend also suggested Tuckahoe SP. We visit Chincoteague every year, and I've been wanting to try Maddox (we usually do Tom's Cove).
Honestly, I don't think it matters where we go. Sometimes we've had the best trips at the places with the worst amenities, just because we brought such a fun group. I can't wait to get out there!
