Best Lonches in Progreso, Mexico
A group of us singles like to try new eating places and will be looking for good Lonches today. Any suggestions?

- Usually, they are $.75 each. Very good. They are also available at Arturo's in both Progresso and Weslaco.
- I have never heard of lonches? Will definitely be trying these on our next trip sob.
You all are making it very difficult to know where to try them. :W
About how much do you pay for them?

- The people in our park are split evenly between Viktor's and Texitas. Viktors is east of the main street and Texitas is west. I never even looked at the street vendors until I discovered Lonches.
- The absolute best lonches, bar none, are at Viktor's. It's the fried onions they add that make the difference.
Viktor's is a roadside stand, with seating. From the bridge, turn left at either the first or second street, and his is the last booth on the left. We've been going there for six years. missourigal wrote:

Went there today and they were very good. I think it is called, "Texitas" or something like that.
