I look for convenience when overnighting going to & from Florida, and so far have found 4 campgrounds near I-95 that work pretty well:
(1) South of the Border in Dillon, SC, just below the North Carolina border. Easy on & off, gas & supplies available, self-service RV wash ($2). And quite reasonable at $26 for 30 amp electric & water back-in site.
(2) New Green Acres Campground, Walterboro, SC. Long (100 feet) pull-thru sites, nicely shaded, too, but you can hear the traffic on I-95 (and see it from a few sites) although I didn't find it a problem inside the motorhome. $26 for 30 amp electric & water.
(3) RV Resort at Carolina Crossroads, Roanoke Rapids, NC, not far from the Virginia border. A bit more expensive at $34, but that's for a pull-thru and you get cable TV, too. Very clean restrooms/showers.
(4) Stagecoach RV Park, St. Augustine, FL. More of a destination for most campers, but it was at the right stopping point for me going further south. Just a mile or two from I-95, but no road noise in campground. Restrooms/showers were very clean. A bit pricier for an overnight at $40.
