best overnight parks off I 95

Dh and I travel NJ-SC many times a year - travel along I 95 for the most part. Always looking for an overnight stopover along the way. Don't like to stop in rest stops or parking lots. Wish to support CG owners if we can. Any positive experiences on where to stop in northern NC/VA south of Petersburg for the night? Pull our toad so appreciate pull thrus! Thanks.
  • Nice people and nice campground off I-95 near Fayetteville, NC. Its called Lazy Acres and it is great.

Another option is Pedro's South of the Border. Easy in and out, full hook ups and pull thrus.
  • I stood at Americamps on my way from RI to Charlotte (Needed to meet up/pick up someone in Richmond, or I would have been on I-81 side of the state). Rate was reasonable to me (remember, I am in New England, the high price camping capital of the world), got free hotdogs that night and free breakfast in the AM.

Note, This place is just North of Richmond. Sorry.
  • New Green Acres in Walterboro, SC. Easy on and off 95. Nothing fancy FHU
inexpensive. I will use it again. Cracker Barrel same exit
