I agree with the rest. Yellowstone is so big that unless you stay in the different campgrounds within the park you end up spending all your time driving. Especially when you factor in animal traffic jams. The first day: "wow, it's elk and bison, stop so we can watch". Day 7 "crud, traffic is stopped to look at the stupid animals"
We stayed at the different campgrounds in the park and worked the area in quadrants. Still ended up driving way too much, but it was absolutely beautiful!!
