I have a Xantrex 600 but dont use anywhere near it's full capacity. As I researched I came to believe that the Magnum is about the best. My system included a 3000 remote start Honda so we would have air conditioning if needed so I also use it to run my heavy appliances.
If my refrigerator becomes an issue and I convert to a 10 cu ft residential I may also power it with Xantrex but it will also have a large buffer in sizing. If I were to run an inverter at the high end of it's operating range I would want the best available.
In a different rig I had an Aims 400 watt that accidentally got connected to my propane frig and blew it's guts out instantly without blowing the fuse. Poor product = low tolerance.
