Even though I would probably not be allowed in (20 year old Foretravel with a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Towed) I could work with the guy. He did discuss it and gave an upfront answer. It actually looks like a nice park without permanent residents who may (or may not) be looking for their next wad of drug money.
We were not much impressed by AZ RV parks in general (and Yuma RV parks in particular) when we found ourselves unable to stay due to having two children under 21; both of whom had to be supervised any time they were out of the 5th wheel. At least this guy takes pets. But I bet not kids.
I'd rather boondock.

You must have been looking at 55+ parks, which get tax benefits because they do not allow children - thus no possibility of a drain on the public school system. Yes, most of these parks require that visiting kids (usually grand kids since they cater to retirees) be supervised. I have no problem with that - it makes sure that you don't have teenagers in the pools doing cannonballs, etc. Remember, this is snowbird heaven - people spend a lot of money to come and spend the winter in the sun.
There are parks in the state that aren't 55+, did you look at the county parks - some really nice ones with lots of areas for hiking, etc.
