Need-A-Vacation

I appreciate the feedback on other places to stay, but we are being invited to go along on the trip. Unless there aren't enough sites available, this is the campground of choice. Most times they stay at a different cg each year. If I had to guess, the fact it is on the river was part of the decision to make a river trip easier by ending at the cg.
I was just looking for info to see if there was anything "quirky" about this cg. Example: All the cg's in Frankenmuth only have "community firepits", no pit at each site as I understand. Heard/read it was due to an ordinance???
TY again!
