- TexasShadowExplorer IIWe stayed at Big Pine a few years ago and stayed in one of the first sites because we wanted clearance for our satellite. The managers were friendly, the park itself was clean and very shady back in the trees. A bit sandy, if I recall, but a lot of pine needles, too. Close to everything in the town of Custer. We did not use the bathrooms because we're self contained.
- davebrueggeExplorerThat's the one thing I can say to this point. Of the places I have actually contacted, they were BY FAR the friendliest and most willing to spend time sharing information about their facility.
- Mandalay_ParrExplorerI recommend Beaver Lake campground. Nice place, very friendly and helpful owners, good rates.
You will like it.
