Big Rig Campground near Yosemite and Pebble Beach

Thanks kazmir, rollexx and jbrowland for the suggestions. We definitely will do the Big Sur Drive. I will check the length limit for the El Portal road as well--wouldn't have known about the construction or bridge work so appreciate the information.
