OK. As per the OP's request here are a few pics of a typical site for size and a few of the resort.

Our site. Our coach is a 40 and is about 3 feet from the rear of the lot.

Their are 8 pools, 14 tennis courts, awesome Gym, Restaurant, RV parts store and convenience store, coffee shop, pool hall, Small Library, Lounge with movie theatre, dog runs, post office etc etc etc. No idea what the rates are. You can rent through the office or privately. My guess is around 1200 to 1500 per month depending on view, amenities, etc etc.

Why not stay at Outdoor Resort Palm Spings. The lots are 70 feet long. It should accommodate you. Let me know if you need lot pictures.

I guess I should have said Palm Springs area as it's Cathedral city that we were looking at. We stayed at Sands RV in Desert Springs last year and we liked the resort but got tired of the wind. Seemed we spent more time down in Palm. We have friends that are going to be staying at Outdoor Resort and we are holing to find a resort close to them.

Don't confine your search to Palm Springs. Most of the 'newer', larger, big rig friendly parks (and some would say nicer) are in Cathedral City, Indio, Desert Hot Springs and other nearby towns. We are in Desert Hot Springs currently and you should see some of the monster rigs coming and going.

Come to Cocopah Resort in Yuma. There is room for any sized rig.

Try Indian Waters in Indio. It's not far from Palm Spring and quieter.

Never been to Palm Springs area, but we have not been turned away from a park in five years traveling all across the country. When calling we always tell them we are a 37 foot fiver with a HDT, 60 feet long. Have never and an issue.

I can count on one hand the places where we have had to park the Volvo away from the fifth wheel.
