We were in site 18, and although the campground map doesn't really show it very well, the site backs up to a Campground Host. Much too close so would not choose that one again.
Otherwise, the sites around the outside of the circle are very nice. All seemed easy to get into. The river is a short walk from the other loop with a great sandy beach.
We brought our own canoe and launched from the road next to the campground, went upstream for an hour or more, and then back down. Lots of sandbars to pull out on and enjoy the beauty.
The Blackwater Heritage Trail is also nearby which we biked one morning. We certainly enjoyed our stay at this great little park.
