Tons of outdoor things to do in this area
We normally stay at Vogel but they were full this year. Word has spread and in one sense I am glad as that means the park will be funded according to its visitor numbers. The flip side is the fact that it does make it harder to get reservations if you don't plan at least 10 months out.
We normally plan that far but sometimes we forget:W which is why we ended up at Trackrock this year as an alternative. It was a very nice stay at Trackrock and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
Don't forget all of the waterfalls in that area too. The office at Vogel and Trackrock can tell you where they are.
