It will give you a taste, but you will be on eastern end. It is easier driving, but a little less scenic. I also suggest that you know your vertical clearance requirement. With a TT that will probably not be an issue, but you can download a guide. We enjoyed it, but we were there in the "spring" and it was still winter at the higher elevations at the western end. There are a number of man-made stop and see things too.
