A friend just rented out her 2BR condo in Breckenridge for $4400 for 6 days... once you hear that, the rates at the RV park don't look so bad!

The USFS Heaton Bay campground on Lake Dillon has 30/50A electric hookups in Loop C. Had gorgeous views and some shade before the pines were killed by bark beetles. But it is a great alternative to the outrageous prices at Tiger Run. You will need reservations as Summit County is the most popular summer tourist area for Denverites in Colorado.

Cheaper option is Middlefork RV Resort in Fairplay located right at Hwy 285 and 9. I stayed there a few winters ago and it was good. You could then drive into Blue River for visits.
