A friend just rented out her 2BR condo in Breckenridge for $4400 for 6 days... once you hear that, the rates at the RV park don't look so bad! - fanrgsExplorerThe USFS Heaton Bay campground on Lake Dillon has 30/50A electric hookups in Loop C. Had gorgeous views and some shade before the pines were killed by bark beetles. But it is a great alternative to the outrageous prices at Tiger Run. You will need reservations as Summit County is the most popular summer tourist area for Denverites in Colorado.
- MbivianoExplorerCheaper option is Middlefork RV Resort in Fairplay located right at Hwy 285 and 9. I stayed there a few winters ago and it was good. You could then drive into Blue River for visits.
