Boat Rentals

Man, I can't believe what they are asking for a boat rental. I should have kept my old boat and rented it out. Evidently they are more precious than a house. $350/day and up. Forget about a house boat.....

I guess that makes an RV a hole in the ground

Sort of but on a much lower level.

    A basic 35ft RV might run $35-50k

A basic 35ft boat will run somewhere on the order of $150-250k (no I'm not talking about a high end gold plater, those are much more expensive)
  • supply & demand, no traveling except for the Rvers! ;) If we were not into kayaking or biking this would be a good time to unload our toys.. I guess the same could be said about our TT

Lots of liability renting a boat, wouldn't want to deal with it

  • Others beat me to it, but I was going to say, you think that's a lot, go check out what it costs to rent a side by side or even a quad. And a 4 seat RZR costs about 1/4 to 1/3 what a decent lower end ski/wakeboard boat costs new.

My daughter rented a RZR side-by-side 4-seater in Utah for over $400 for a 12 hour period. That's a concession to get into.

After seeing the number of Razers that Winder towing pulls out of the dunes completely busted to pieces I'm not sure I'd want to be in that business!
