We believe on the way there, the Birmingham, AL area would be a good place to stop. On the way home, somewhere in the Nashville, TN/Bowling Green, KY area makes sense to stop. In the Birmingham area, per RV Park Review, the Dandy RV KOA in Clanton, AL and The Peach Queen Campground in Jemison have decent reviews. The Bowling Green KOA in Bowling Green, KY looks ok. Just looking for input from those of you who have stayed in these areas. We are looking for decent place for an overnight stay-not an extended stay.
If any of you have suggestions for Topsail, we would like to hear those as well.

We booked there in June 2015 already. That place fills up fast! Headed there from Indy. :)
