I agree. What looks like sand is usually rather hard-packed dirt due to the dry environment. There's far less of the sand in the desert Southwest that most folks envision a desert to be. There are no shots in that video of anything truly sandy. And where I have encountered genuine sand, I've also encountered giant motorhomes driving across it, like the guy in the colossal class A towing a side-by-side ATV on a flatbed when he passed my campsite at Little Sahara this past weekend.
