Boondocking Hwy. 168 - Bishop, CA
Since the forest service (BLM, etc.) *campgrounds* are closed, does anyone have suggestions for boondocking locations along Hwy. 168 out of Bishop, CA? TIA.

- Thanks, Tiger! Interesting that the concessionaire-run "forest service" campgrounds are still open; maybe concessionaires are in the "essential services" category!? :@
- Interesting. So, if a USFS campground is concessionaire operated, they have the option to stay open?

"1st October 2013 The following campgrounds are closed as of 1 Oct. Sabrina Campground, North Lake Campground, Mt. Glenn, Table Top, and Willow Campgrounds. In Big Pine only Upper Sage Flats is closed.
The following are OPEN: 4 Jefferies, Forks, Big Tree, Bishop Park, in Bishop Canyon, and in Big Pine Sage Flats, and Big Pine Creek are all open on a first come basis. Hope this information helps."
Inyo NF offices are closed, the web page is down, but the concessionaire keeps on working.
