Boondocking Tips

Good stuff. I also have a Flexmax 60 on a 24v battery bank. Great unit.

Pretty much what we do camping off the power grid. I am not full time but do stay out for weeks at a time in some instances..

The only places where we differ is we haven't gone the solar panels yet which make us use our 2KW Generator every day. Gasoline is of course a problem trying to conserve it. I only run my 2KW Honda generator just three hours a day usually in the morning during breakfast. This is when we brew up our coffee for the day... I will reduce my generator use down to around an hour a day when I get solar panels going on my small foot print OFF-ROAD trailer roof.

I did notice you are using a VENTLESS PROPANE HEATER which I have never done. I have read all the safety specs on those units but have never really trusted them... It only has to go bad for you once haha...

We survive rather well for a coupe of weeks stretch off the grid and do all things we usually do at the Electric Sites...
