We have an auto gen start that we can program to automatically start the generator when the batteries get to a preset level. Do you have a generator? House batteries will likely not be able to run a furnace all night depending upon the temperature outside and where you set the thermostat. We like to set our thermostat on 40 for the front and 45 for the bedroom area for the overnight and have the auto gen start as a back-up plan.
