Border closings
It is likely that Canada will not reopen the border. It is also quite possible it will not reopen for about 6 months. Not good news. Latest polls show most Canadians do not want it to reopen

I could understand having the border closed for daily shoppers. How would self quaranteeing be handled. But for long term traveller's or those headed to Mexico there would be no risk for any Canadians athome. The polls on this subject are useless information. Polling people who do not travel to the usa is waste of time. They need to poll real snowbirds.
