My family was there for a reunion a couple of years ago. We home-based out of City of Branson RV Park. It's really not much to look at, but worked for a home base for our purposes. It was right on Taneycomo which my Dad liked because he could get up and go trout fishing while he waited for everyone else to get up and around.
It was in a good location for what we were doing, it was quiet and night, and seemed to be well kept. We had no problems while there.
x2.
I was there for Memorial Day three years ago and really enjoyed it. It's walking distance from some of the attractions.
I was disappointed in the "scenic train ride" and wouldn't recommend it. Most of the trip you will see a dirt bank on one side and some trees on the other. Not much scenery.
