We live in Springfield Mo about 40 miles from Branson. We spend a g reat amount of time in Branson each year. We belong to Treasure Lake Campground which is a membership place, and as far as I am concerned one of the best in the Country. Befor we joined this Campground we camped at many of the Campgrounds in and around Branson. Theere are probably more Campgrounds in a concentdrated area than anywhere in the country. City Park Campground has been reduced in size and they don't have as much trouble with flooding as they used to have. KOA is very nice but a little off the Beaten track. Tablerock State park is Beautiful but is also a little bit of a drive to a lot of the action. ABC it top notch and pretty close to everything. There are many small Parks located on the strip or just off the strip that are within walking distance of some of the shows. As far as 5 star I guess that ABC (Americas Best CampGround) and The KOA may cloesest fit your bill. If you like to fish too I would go with City Park or Tablerock State Park or one of the Many Corps Parks in the Area. Have fun on your stay
