If you haven't toured them Savannah Ga and Charleston SC are wonderful destinations in their own right. Savannah's waterfront has a series of restored old warehouse buildings converted to nice restaurants and night spots, the Cemetary in the town center is a fascinating walk, along with huge old spanish moss draped trees, the tombstones tell interesting stories, many outlining things like epidemics and wartime heroes. There is also a nighttime carriage ride through the town, retelling many of its old ghost stories. Charleston has a large area that has also been restored to show life from the Antebellum era, with many tours and museums.
