Traveling from Charlotte, NC area on I-85 south on May 26 (Memorial day) to pick up I-20 west. Would appreciate any recommendations on campgrounds just north of Atlanta off I-85. 38...

Not many campgrounds on I-85 north of Atlanta except state parks and Corps of Engineers parks which will be booked for the holiday weekend. There is a Jellystone campground west of Atlanta on I-20 but they require 3 night stay on holiday weekend. You might try the Flying J, exit 147 off I-85 at Commerce GA.
There is also a Flying J west of Atlanta I-20 exit 19. Have a safe trip!
