We used to stay at what was then a KOA at Commerce, GA, but that one had become very run down the last time we came through there.
For several years we have stayed in a little campground at Lavnoia, GA, just a mile or so off I-85. It would not be everyone's cup of tea, but it suited us just fine.
You might not like it as well as we do, but at least I thought I'd tell you about it. It is simple, quiet, rural with full hookups.
The name is Sunset Campground. Here is a listing:
