Campfires can you do without?

We had a seasonal site for 8 years and had a camp fire every weekend during the summer. Could not imagine camping without a campfire. I typically try to accomdate my camping neighbors as much as possible but if someone ever wasked me not to have a camp fire I would politely ask them to move. Unless it's pouring rain I say 100% of the time a campfire is totally called for and a great way to have nice conversation, play music, laugh, etc etc. ALso, I love the smell. Nothing better then rolling into a campground and getting a whiff of campfire to know you have arrived. Another pro campfire vote here :-)
