Campground and OHVing Suggestions-Black Hills
Hi, we are planning a trip for camping, trail riding and relaxing with our CanAm either next week, May 12-20th or May 29-June 7 and we were planning to stay in the Hill City, Keystone or Custer areas (we went to the northern area last year). Now we've been hearing that there are not many trails in the southern part so we're open to other places, like Deadwood. Looking for some advice on camping and some nice trails.
Here's what we like: Camping (29' 5th wheel) we don't want or need all the entertainment stuff, just a quiet, wooded spot with hookups, a view would be frosting on the cake. We like to have our morning coffee outside enjoying the beautiful Black Hills. None if those flat, wide open campgrounds please. We aren't into tearing around on trails either. We are looking for interesting, historic, out of the ordinary things to find along the way. Old buildings, nature and lovely views.
Will trails be open before May 15th? Really appreciate any suggestions. Thanks to any and all who reply.
