Campground around Gadsden

We are headed to the Smokies and plan to stop for the night in Gadsden. I have researched to campgrounds in that area, Noccalula Falls and River Country. I have mixed feelings about both. We have a 36 ft fifth wheel and don't want a difficult campground to maneuver in. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you
  • If you're looking at going late next week, between October 15-18, Noccalua Falls is pretty much fully booked for a FROG (Forest River Owners' Group) Rally.
  • Another vote for Noccalua Falls. Have stayed there twice, last time this past spring. Very convenient. Stayed there in a 40 foot MH. No problems getting into our site.
  • We love Nocalula Falls and stay there twice a year and we have a 42' fifth wheel. Yes. Some sites are hard to get into but they also have a few pull through. It's a few minutes off of 59 but River Country is easier to get to. Ive never stayed at River County so I can't comment on them. Nocalula has the beautiful 90' water fall, hiking trails, black squirrels and is well maintained.
  • We've stayed at River Country many times over the last 10 years, they have ample room for your rig. Access is no problem.
