Carowinds is terrible, unless you have a tent. Went there last month and drove through and was not worth the high price they charge.
Glad to hear a first hand account. I have not stayed there but just read some reviews several years ago. I lived a few miles away so never had the need to camp there.
Didn't stay there, but did a drive through after visitng Carowinds for the day. The tent site are had nice green lush grass that appeared taken care of. The other part of the park was the total opposite.
