Campground Recommendation & Activities near Ashville, NC

We're still brainstorming our trip and I think we're going to have 2-3 days to spend near the Ashville or Boone NC area. We'd like something we can enjoy the outdoors but a site with at least electri...

Boone and Ashville are miles apart, if you want mountains go to Boone and stay at Flintlock campground. It is on a creek has full hookups and priced right. We have probably camped there 10-11 times.
