campground recommendation: Columbus, OH

Question

Hello all...thanks so far for your help (I've got some great places thanks you all for my trip already!)

Anybody have a recommendation for campground in Columbus, OH? (It's a good rest point between Nashville and Rochester in terms of time on the road and my mother's sanity :)

One of our favorites is Cross Creek Camping Resort in Delaware, OH. It is across the street from Alum Creek State Park is another possibility.

We liked Buckeye Lake just east of Columbus.  Clean and quiet.

Delaware State Park is quieter than Alum Creek and relatively close by. Cardinal Campground is right next to I71 and a skeet shooting range so beware. There's a Yogi Bear park in Mount Gilead, but I've never been there.
