Arguably the best RV parks in the world are Outdoor Resorts - Indio and Motorcoach Country Club, with Outdoor Resorts Cathedral City not far behind. (I don't count Desert Shores because I don't think you can get a rental site there). But you will pay the price and they aren't everyone's cup of tea. EDIT: Forget what I just said, you are going there in July? The park won't matter. You will be unable to leave your RV it will be so hot. Expect daytime highs to exceed 110 degrees. The pools, if open, will resemble giant hot tubs and will not provide any cooling comfort. The only thing that will matter is how good your air conditioner is. If it is exceptional, you might find the heat bearable. If it works only marginally in normal weather, may God have mercy on your soul. There is a reason nothing goes on in the desert in the summer.
