Bear Cove Village and the KOA are close to Dollywood and Dolly's Splash Country water park. All the parks in the area are fairly tight and close on the site sizes. Kings Holly Haven RV park is maybe the most generous on site sizes in the area. The south end of town has Foothills RV park and Riveredge. Both nice parks. A lot of people rave about River Plantation RV park too. It really is mind boggling there are so many choices. You have lots of time to research and choose one.
G'burg has a great aquarium if that's something the kids would like. Or you could drive into the Nat'l park and go to Clingmans Dome or out to Cades cove, lots of history there.
Dinner shows, you can't beat Dixie Stampede. Its a great show. Dolly just took over Lumberjack Adventure show and has renovated it all. Its a neat one too. All have pretty good food too.
There is the Wonder Works too, a hands on museum for the kids that's pretty cool. The Titanic museum is next door to Wonder Works and is an interesting exhibit.
There is so much here to see and do you will not have enough time or money to do it all. We moved down here 3.5 yrs. ago and we still haven't seen everything we want to. Happy to answer any questions you may have, just ask.
